We go where networks don’t.

There are places in the world where conventional communication simply stops working. Where cell towers don’t exist, satellites get blocked, and standard equipment goes dark. These are exactly the environments our team had in mind when we founded Muc²Tec.

We are a Munich-based deep-tech startup building a new kind of communication system. One that doesn’t rely on any external infrastructure. No cell networks. No GPS. No internet. Just a self-organizing network of devices that find each other, connect, and keep information flowing. No matter what’s happening around them.

Our journey started with a simple question: why do soldiers, rescue teams, and first responders still lose communication in the most critical moments? We speak directly with operators in active conflict zones to understand their real world challenges. Based on these insights we build technology specifically designed for their needs in the field.

The result is a system that works in the background quietly and reliably to give teams on the ground a shared picture of their environment. This technology ensures everyone knows where they are and what is happening even in conditions designed to disrupt exactly that

Mission

Dual Use by Design

From the beginning we built Muc²Tec with two worlds in mind including defence and civilian sectors. The same technology that supports military operations in contested environments can protect disaster response teams in earthquake zones. These systems guide search and rescue missions in remote terrain or connect border security units operating far from any infrastructure.

This is what drives us every day. And we’re just getting started.
